How We Were Conceived

Pregnant and frustrated with clothing options in San Antonio, Allison Hayne and Catherine Matthews began brainstorming about what to do about the lack of fun, affordable, stylish and well-made maternity clothes in the San Antonio area. San Antonio is the 9th largest city in the country - shouldn't they have a great upscale maternity boutique to cater to the thousands of women who travel this amazing journey to motherhood? We thought so.

Thus, Bloom Maternity was born on September 1st, 2004 (Labor Day)!!

We feel that we have brought a necessity to San Antonio. Bloom Maternity gives you maternity clothes and accessories you would wear anywhere, for all occasions. Over the past three years Bloom has expanded to offer you not only great maternity clothes and accessories but also great gift items for baby, Mom and Dad. As well as the hottest gear on the market, including Phil & Teds and BOB strollers.

What we feel is the greatest thing about our partnership is our different body types and different styles. There is a great variety in our store and online. Some great funky, trendy stuff, but always the basics. No matter what your size, you deserve to look and feel beautiful while your body is in Bloom - and beyond.
